We will not retain ownership for longer than necessary. Exit strategies are prepared at the time of investment. Capital and profit generated are reinvested in new businesses where there is a greater need for our risk capital.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At regular intervals we do exit analysis of exited portfolio companies. <a href=\"https:\/\/reports.norfund.no\/annualreport-2022\/development-mandate\/exited-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The latest<\/a> was done in 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group alignfull has-gray-light-background-color has-background is-layout-flow\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default\">What is defined as an exit?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A project is considered exited when all Norfund\u2019s instruments with the investee are exited and no direct relationship exists any longer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading is-style-default\">Exited investments in 2024&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During 2024 we exited 13 investments.
